Title: Two of a Kind
Original fic

Notes: Also written for the fiction class, a companion piece to "A Day of Firsts" as in this will make sense, but more sense when read after that one. This is the final, and I'm okay with it I guess.

Summary: Charlie's always been compared to her sister.

Title: A Day of Firsts
Original fic

Notes: Wrote this as my second story in my fiction writing workshop class. Wasn't too happy with it, but the original draft was apparently grammatically perfect... s'what I get for writing the whole thing at 3am. This is like the second of third draft so things are messy and not quite how I liked it. I lost my jump drive with the final version :-/

Summary: Lily Black leads an unusual life. There's a first time for everything no matter who you are.

She could tell you that he drove his silver BMW to the office each morning at eight o'clock and parked to the right of building A.Collapse )

Title: Sometimes It's All You Need (omg the lamest title ever! I'm open to suggestions lol)
Fandom: Stargate Atlantis/SG-1
Characters: McKay, Carter
Notes: This is horrible really lol, but I wrote this just because I had to. Now granted, I feel two ways about this whole thing as in, I really feel like Sam would never talk about this or I like to think maybe she would for some reason. Does that make sense?
Big thanks to idiasm for my beta as she is okay with spoilers, yay! And also to wolfsavard for, as usual, reading whatever I send her. :-)

Spoilers for SG-1 10x13 The Road Not Taken, vague kind-of mention of SGA 3x20 First Strike and general casting spoilers for SGA season 4.Collapse )

Okay so this is clearly not finished. This is the first part of my first venture into Atlantis fandom fic. It's a Buffy/Atlantis merger AU thing. It's crack. I'm not sure about it. It's very close to "Welcome to the Hellmouth" at this point on account of I'm ironing out stuff... and uh... yeah. A few lines are right from Buffy because they worked too well. Um... thanks to wolfsavard for listening to me be retarded even though she's not immersed in either fandom. And huge thanks to daydreamer for being a real live beta, which I've never really had before for anything oddly, and also for totally helping me possibly figure some ish out. The details are what kill me.

So, please let me know what you think. Really. And I don't quite have a title yet, which is painful really. Titles are so important.

Into every generation...Collapse )

Title: Falling of Free Will
Fandom: Original, fantasy
Notes: Wrote this for my fiction workshop senior year at Bryant. I was the only person in the class to write a fantasy piece... go figure. Every class we rotating reading our stuff, and every class someone read the same story about some emo kid or like someone dying or being kidnapped. I got bored with it. And not to sound egotistical, because I'm so totally not, but some of those stories and the writing styles etc, made me look like a professional million dollar making writer. And that was really frightening. My favorite of the worsts was the girl with the story that caused me to start counting semi-colons. Three page story, double spaced, sixteen semi-colons and like most of them were used instead of commas. *headdesk*

Also, this is like the 3rd draft since I edited it upon some suggestions I received from the class. One of them was changing names so they didn't all end in -el... no one got that they're all angels and angel names all end in -el as like a legit thing. I could only bear to change one name since they all hold meaning... whatever. I love this story, but at the same time despise bits of it. The one thing I refused to change despite every suggestion was the term "The Authority" to "God." Just couldn't do it. "The Authority" sounds scarier and I thank Philip Pullman for bringing it to my attention.

Millions of spiritual creatures walk the earth...Collapse )

My prof thought this was meant to be something bigger, but I'm not sure. Turned out way different than it started though.

Title: Tired
Fandom: Original, scifi-ish... just plain weird.
Notes: Wrote this in 2001 in my senior year Creative Writing class. Kinda did it just to piss off the teacher because she was a wackjob. I also wrote a piece of WWF fanfic for the class, but uh... whatever.

And also, I'm ditching this rating business since I do suck at it. If anything ever gets violent or like not safe, I'll just say, but the chances of that occurring are like uh... slim to none since I suck at adult themes. *pbbt* What.ever.

Title: Friends and Family
Rating: PG-13 for a gunshot (? I suck at ratings)
Fandom: Original, inspired by La Femme Nikita obsession at the time
Notes: Wrote this in 1997 so it's not so great. At all. The title is kinda lame, the whole thing is kinda meh. It was meant to be a small part of this huge thing I had outlined... but like so much, I never wrote it. My bad. All characters are fictional despite resemblances, all accents/ethnicities are badly done I know. I debated posting this since I look at it and kinda go "urgh" but again, I was 13.

Title: Glycerine
Rating: PG
Fandom: WWF, Chris Irvine (Chris Jericho)
Notes: Written in 2000 for Megan's birthday. Same type of plot, wrestler meets girl and the yay. Lyrics are from "Glycerine" by Bush.
